Multinational monk march
A Japanese Buddhist monk marches past the memorial stupa at the Choeung Ek Killing Fields on the outskirts of Phnom Penh yesterday. About 150 Buddhist monks from Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar and Japan congregated at Choeung Ek yesterday for a ceremony in remembrance of those killed at the hands of the Khmer Rouge. The monks also offered prayers for world peace and the alleviation of all forms of suffering.
